FIELD MEDICAL + EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Picture the scene; something serious has just happened right in front of you and people need help. There's blood, there's fear, there is shouting and there is you. What do you do? These people need help. They need it now. Over to you....
The X Platoon Field Medical and Emergency Response Course has been designed to specifically target the skills and knowledge required to deal with casualties and injuries that we could face in our everyday life. We aim to deliver realistic, relevant and appropriate training that can be utilised for all eventualities whether in the home, at work or in an outdoors environment, where you may not be able to just call for ambulance and wait for its arrival. It is essential that we all know how to identify and treat injuries and then prevent the casualties condition from deteriorating.
The aim of the X Platoon Field Medical and Emergency Response Course is to highlight the differences, problems and considerations associated with treating casualties in an outdoor environment where help and medical services may not be able to reach you for some considerable time. This course will provide you with not only the necessary knowledge and understanding but also the self confidence to act and to help deal with any casualties you encounter. First aid saves lives, thousands of people die or are seriously injured each year in the UK, many of those deaths could have been prevented by the application of initial first aid before the arrival of the emergency services.
