PATHFINDER - 'FIRST IN'

The X Platoon Leadership and Team Building events are designed to explore what it is like to be part of an elite team working at the very limits of your physical and mental capabilities.

Real strength lies in a team’s ability to overcome problems together, to remain cohesive when all others around them are failing, to possess clarity of thought under the most austere and stressful of conditions, to continue to communicate and pass on relevant information, to strategise and think ‘outside of the box’, to ensure your plan is achievable and has in-built contingencies to cover every eventuality.

If your organisation is looking to tackle performance issues, to motivate and build your teams into high performing units, to empower your leaders and managers as mentors and coaches enabling them to inspire those around them, to improve communication skills and to deal with disputes or conflicts in an appropriate manner then join up and experience what it is like to serve and operate with the elite, the ‘best of the best’.

Making tough decisions under extreme pressure, working with limited resources and to tight timelines and almost always against the odds are common practices for any elite forces soldier, together you can work towards transferring these skills to your team, ensuring they are ahead of the rest.

Start now, build your team and make them a true force to be reckoned with.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

This event typically runs over a 2 day and 1 night period and will transport you into the life of an Elite Forces soldier. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be dropped behind enemy lines in a small team, operating in isolation and gathering intelligence on the enemy who are searching for you, what kind of physical and mental resilience would that demand, what leadership, motivation, self-discipline, determination and team cohesion would be required to succeed and get everyone out alive. As an Elite Forces operator the lives of others are always in your hands.
Firstly you  will cover the training required to be a member of the Elite Forces as we look at building the necessary skill sets you will need to undertake the ‘Operation’. Once your training is complete you will receive your orders and be given your mission. As a team you will then deploy across the border and behind enemy lines to begin your task.

In the world of the Elite Forces ‘no plan survives first contact with the enemy’ so as an individual and as a team you must utilise all of your training, experience and skills to overcome any eventualities that you encounter.

  • Confirm your plan and issue specific roles and tasks
  • Build in contingencies to cover any potential problems and scenarios
  • Rehearsal of Concept (ROC Drills)
  • Deploy into your area of operations

You will need to work together as a team and call upon everything you have been taught to achieve ‘Mission Success’.
